Rosemary & Tom Brightmore |
After moving to Devon and a break of over 2 years, Rosemary reopened her Silverwork School with 2 demonstration days on 1st and 2nd October 2005. At these events, 4 of Rosemary’s students from her previous workshop in Gloucestershire, joined her in her new workshop in North West Devon to illustrate what can be achieved in this rewarding craft. |
Please note that for security reasons we only keep minimal stocks of precious metals. |
If you wish to attend one of the courses or day schools please speak to Rosemary in advance to discuss your project so that materials can be available. |
As a guide, beginners could expect to produce a simple ring or bangle in their initial traditional jewellery day school. However, at our introductory 2 |
day courses in the revolutionary new metal clay, even absolute beginners can quickly produce several items. (see the class list page) |
Rosemary has been teaching Jewellery since 1978 and helps and encourages students to design their own individual jewellery. |
The emphasis is on Jewellery rather than silversmithing, although spoons are a popular item with many students (Christmas presents etc). |
A general explanation of classes and courses is given on the class list page Please telephone Rosemary to discuss the classes you require. Initially we tried to publish detailed class lists on this website but found it better to deal personally with each student. |
